10th Anniversary Issue
This 10th Anniversary Issue of the Historical Society summarizes its formation and progress over the years.
Opening with the Genesis of the Society it touches on such topics as the work of its Historians, the efforts of Julian C.R.Dorr and Berenice Tuttle, and a search for a home.
There is an extensive yearly chronology, listing the monthly activities for each of the years. Featured is a reproduction of the invitation to the newly opened museum, and several photos of museum artifacts.
In closing there is a lengthy article by Robert E. West, “Rutland Historical Society Today”, a review of the origins and growth of the organization.
